本剧改编自玄色小说《哑舍》，讲述了来自未来的古董店老板毕之和活在现代的宠物医生苏北陆组成合作伙伴，一起踏上寻回古董的时光之旅。不同时期的风土人情、跌宕起伏的人生境遇，在二人的穿针引线间被娓娓道来。在这一过程中，他们收获了跨时空的友情，最终满怀乐观地面对各自的人生……
