Zara is an office worker at pension fund investment company Lochmill Capital. Zara has her day upended when a gang of violent thieves burst in demanding she helps them steal billions of pounds of ordinary people’s pensions.

本剧改编自作者横山光辉同名漫画，故事讲述当织田信长的天下统一大业近在眼前时，琵琶湖畔以南蔓延着一个名为《金目教》的诡异宗教。据说不信此教者会遭受可怕的诅咒——。为暗中调查《金目教》的真相，信长决定委托《假面忍者》出马……一名以忍者身份隐于暗处的青年（佐藤大树），最终化身为“假面忍者·赤影”。
